With SBC Digital Summit Latinoamérica underway, we spoke with Milda Mikelioniene Chief Commercial Officer of Superlotto Games to find out what they will be promoting at the event.
Milda explained that the variety and diversity of products are the core things that helped in mitigating the impact of COVID-19 and that AI will be a key innovation for 2020.
What are you looking forward to at the SBC Digital Summit Latinoamérica?
First and foremost, we are delighted to have gotten this opportunity to participate in the event for a variety of reasons. However, one of the key issues here is that all of us have gone through a really difficult period, we have survived a complete lockdown and uncertainty.
Although it still does not mean that we will be able to meet in person in any large event this year, which is a great pity. So the fact that this is a virtual event and we can all still meet and work together, is something incredible.
What would be your biggest bit of advice for betting and gaming businesses trying to mitigate the impact of COVID-19?
Basically all sectors have been strongly affected by Covid19, perhaps some were affected more than the others. However, in my personal opinion, I suppose the variety and diversity of products are the core things that helped saving the situation. Diversity of our portfolio and a clear focus towards efficient advertising were our main strengths.
What are you promoting at SBC Digital Summit Latinoamérica?
Superlotto Games is going to promote and direct its main focus on casino slots. This is a rather a novel direction for Superlotto Games, we have been working on it for almost a year and at the moment we have 15 different games.
By the end of the year we are planning to expand them up to ten extra games. We are extremely proud that Superlotto Games have been developing its portfolio not only with regards to quantity but with regards to its categories: live lottery, instant games and casino slots.
What industry innovation will capture the most attention in 2020?
Plenty of innovations take place in this business every time, since everyone tries to find and develop something new that has not been introduced yet. I guess all effort is directed on developing AI at the moment that has been gaining the most attention in all spheres.
Which operator has impressed you the most in 2020?
I definitely cannot distinguish one operator, knowing that everyone has been battling issues related with Covid19 for almost half a year. As far as I have observed, each company did a great job and stood out with an impressive performance.
Some focused on supporting hospital staff, others were developing AI, improving marketing strategies and a variety of other things. Rather difficult to mention all. In other words, I have been really impressed by all companies for a variety of reasons during this period.
What partnership has stood out in the past 12 months?
For us personally, a partnership with Betsson’s brand Betsafe has been one of the highlights of the year. In addition, the fact that we managed to maintain and strengthen the relationship with the current partners during the hardships were the top priorities for as well.
Which parts of the conference agenda have caught your eye?
I have been particularly interested in the overall LATAM gaming market, so for sure, both days will be greatly amazing for me.
